Scientific field
K. N. Eltsov’s Surface Phenomena Lab is active
in present in Surface Chemistry, Local Probe Microscopy(SPM) and Surface
Nanotechnology.
- Chemical state and local structure in process of halogenation of metal
and semiconductor surfaces by means of Auger Electron Spectroscopy/Factor
Analysis (AES/FA), Extended Energy Loss Fine Structure (EELFS), SPM,
Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) and other spectroscopic methods.
- R&D of Scanning Probe Microscopes for Ultra High Vacuum application
- Nanostructered surfaces obtained by halogenation and light (or electron)
reduction of metal surfaces.
